Our client, an international company leader within the insurance sector is currently looking for an internal control & risk coordinator in Brussels.

As control & risk coordinator, your responsibilities will be the following:

Follow the implementation of the annual intern control plans

- Ensure the update of intern control dashboard and the risks cartography within the entities
- Contribute to the enhancement and the deployment of the permanent control steps
- Contribute to the adequate tools implementation to evaluate the controls
- Assure the intern control evaluation for the holding departments

Follow the failures and contribute to the processes security

- Provide the reporting tools to the teams
- Ensure the relevance of the action plans and the following of the implementation in different entities
- Participate to the indicator implementation of risks management
- Identify the common weaknesses and propose action plans identified by the local permanent controllers
- Contribute to the implementation of the company standard operational risks and the obligations respect

Administer and promote governance

- Assure the link, with other holding directions, the update of the rules directory and the company procedures and its entities diffusion
- Contribute to the annual critical analysis of the existing standards
- Contribute to the implementation and process respect of incidents

Coordinate a "good practice" exchange between intern controllers

- Participate to the integration of the new internal controllers in relationship with the Internal Regional Controller
- Animate workshops to set up new processes or new evaluation tools

Profil recherché

Your profile:

- You have at least 5 years of experience in internal or external audit / permanent or operational business control / operational risk management related to the insurance sector
- You are bilingual French/ English
- You master the audit techniques and the risk analysis
- You manage the informatics applications
- You show an analytical mindset
- You are autonomous as well as able to work within a team
- You have abilities to inform, advice and convince senior management stakeholders
- You have a critical spirit to develop or improve the existing tools and methods
