For one of our client, a large SME in Belgium active on an international level, we have been exclusively assigned to recruit their new SALES & OPERATIONS PLANNING MANAGER. In charge of the strategical optimization of the S&OP activities, you will be responsible for the end to end logistics solutions projects management as well. Within this new position, you will report directly to the head of Supply Chain and will interact as key point of contact between different departments such as sales, production, customer services…

Your responsibilities will consist in:

" Optimizing the S&OP tools and processes from a strategical point of view,
" Being responsible for the daily operations supervision,
" Building up a strong partnership with the sales & production departments in order to review, correct and update latest sales forecasts with both teams,
" Preparing and running weekly S&OP meetings with stakeholders and the top management,
" Updating planning files and performing production plan simulations; aligning with sales/production/finance/purchasing for identifying parameters and constraints,
" Performing simulations on different alternatives when needed and producing short middle & long term plan recommendations,
" In the meantime, being responsible for Supply Chain Projects and developing continuously supply chain solutions for existing / new clients,
" Insuring the development and the management of IT tools and ERP related to S&OP activities,
" Executing all tasks in order to ensure the implementation of the Safety Policy within the group as well as contributing to the achievement of the defined objectives.

Profil recherché

" You have an Engineering master degree (Civil - Business - Industrial engineer),
" You are mastering French and English. A good knowledge of Dutch would be considered as a strong asset,
" You have a relevant experience of at least 5-7 years in complex S&OP operations and logistics projects management within an industrial environment,
" You have a first experience in team / people management,
" You are an advanced user of MS Excel and preferably have a good knowledge of SAP as well,
" You have an entrepreneur mindset as well as an excellent analytical and communication skills,
" You are proactive, diplomatic, polyvalent, assertive, and open minded.
